Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m 35 years old, based in Glasgow, and the proud owner of a successful home-from-home dog boarding business built on trust, knowledge, and genuine love for dogs.
Animals aren’t just my career, they’re my world. At home, I have two beautiful senior pugs of my own: Pugzy, who is 10, and Nala, who is 9. Living with senior dogs has given me invaluable hands-on experience with age-related changes, joint care, weight management, skin sensitivities, and the importance of tailored nutrition.
Alongside my pugs, our home is also shared with a chinchilla and five rabbits , it’s safe to say we are a true animal-loving household! I’m also lucky to share this life with my supportive husband and our beautiful daughter, who is growing up surrounded by compassion, responsibility, and a deep love for animals.
What started as a passion for dogs has grown into a professional, fully licensed service. I am fully licensed with my local council, a PVG member, fully insured, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and welfare.
Over the years, I’ve invested heavily in my education to ensure every dog in my care receives not just love and attention, but informed, professional support. My qualifications include:
Level 4 Canine Behaviour
First Aid & CPR
Pet Care Business Certification
Natural Raw Feeding
OFQUAL Regulated Canine Nutrition Level 3
Every course has strengthened my understanding of dogs, their behavior, health, and individual needs, allowing me to offer a truly personalised service.
While boarding remains at the heart of my business, supporting dogs through nutrition has become my focus.
I’m about to begin an exciting new chapter: training to become a Registered Canine Nutrition Consultant. This will allow me to create tailored, evidence-based dietary plans for dogs at every life stage, from puppy to senior, including support for:
Weight management
Skin allergies
Gut health
Adult maintenance
Senior support
Puppy support
My goal is to specialise particularly in weight management and skin allergies, as I’ve seen first-hand how transformative the right nutrition can be. So many common issues, itchy skin, digestive discomfort, low energy, excess weight, can often be improved dramatically with the correct dietary approach.
I’m especially excited to begin my mentorship with the APNC (Association of Pet Nutrition Consultants) as one of their registered associates. Being part of a respected professional body means I’ll continue learning, developing, and working within recognised standards, giving pet parents confidence that the advice they receive is qualified and regulated.
My mission has always been simple: to provide dogs with the safest, happiest home-from-home care possible, and now, to support their long-term health through tailored, science-led nutrition.
For me, this isn’t just a career. It’s a commitment to helping dogs live healthier, happier lives nd giving owners peace of mind every step of the way.
